Osborne Street South is the heart of Riverview/Lord Roberts, one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The business strip follows the old River Park streetcar line along Osborne Street, from the Pembina and Osborne "confusion corner", south to Jubilee Avenue at the St. Vital Bridge. Many of the renovated buildings date back to the early 20th century, and murals depict the bygone era.
Our members provide both modern services and shopping adventures that appeal to area residents and tourists alike. Among the 80 businesses are stores featuring used, rare and out of print books, collectibles, and antiques. Several shops offer hand-made pottery, unique gift items, and lifestyle enhancements, including fine shoes. Over 15 restaurants serve Italian, Thai, Chinese, fast food, ice cream and family fare. An award-winning restaurant highlights Manitoba suppliers and products, and there is even a movie café in the refurbished Park Theatre.
